External Community Outreach

Our committee is focused on long-term solutions to the health disparities our community faces through advocacy. We are currently working on a community-based initiative where we are surveying our Sangat to develop a better understanding of why these barriers to healthcare exist. Once we have this data, we will proceed to create solutions through advocacy throughout the Bay Area and resource building for our Sangat. Every person has a right to a healthy lifestyle, immigrant or not, and we aspire to make that happen.
